Then on December 17th at Central Market, The Djembabes will be playing their final show of 2011! Central Market is our very favorite Central Austin venue and these show are very family friendly! Lots of children join us at the early show and they give their parents a lesson in how to move to the groove without limitations and self judgement! They let these rhythms in and they FEEL the music and they MOVE....beautifully illustrating what these magical rhythms are designed to do! Come join us and bring your family and friends and relieve any holiday stress that might be building on the dance floor or just in your seats listening and enjoying the beautiful and mesmerizing music of West Africa performed Austin-style by Austin's favorite all-womens Drumsong ensemble, The Djembabes.
