COMMUNITY DRUM CIRCLE
There will be a closing Community Drum Circle at the CANDLELIGHT VIGIL FOR HEALING OUR GULF at Wooldridge Park, 900 Guadalupe in downtown Austin. Please bring instruments, chairs, and an open heart and join us in this closing in this community musical closing. Vigil begins July 10th at 8pm.

The Candlelight Vigil for our Gulf is happening Saturday night AT 8pm, July 10th at Wooldridge Square and the DJEMBABES will be playing , as well as Joel Laviolette of Rattletree Marimba , Ron Crose and Omid Karidjani on Didgeridoo, Singer/songwriter Tom Gingras with Pat Partridge on flute, Titos Menchaca on flute and others......we will celebrate our commitment to LIFE through our music, our prayers, our meditations, our songs and rhythms, and our silence. We are affirming our deep connection to nature and all the natural cycles and rhythms that govern our Universe and we are creating a net of healing energy to protect and heal our damaged waters and the life therein. Please join us as we unite in heart and in spirit in bringing healing energy to our Gulf. Together let us commit to finding new ways to live in harmony and in balance with the natural world and each other and affirm that the Earth does not belong to us, we belong to the Earth....let us remember and honor the sacredness of all life ....and let us celebrate that we are the ones we have been waiting for.

THE DJEMBABES will be performing at Central Market again on Saturday night, July 17th, 2010 at 6:30pm and again at 8pm! This is our FAVORITE venue in Austin and we look forward to seeing you all there on the decks by the cafe under a glorious star studded Texas sky! Bring the whole family for a beautiful , community - spirited celebration of life in Austin, Texas in the summertime...relaxed, family-friendly, joyful, open- hearted, inclusive, and full of fun!
