The Djembabes will be performing at the annual Hildegirls/Djembabe Extravaganza at Unity of the Hills on Anderson Mill Road on December 1th,2006 . The program begins at 7:30pm and we encourage everyone to come as early as 7pm to get a seat as these concerts usually sell out and no advance ticket sales are available. Our concert this year is to benefit GenAustin, a local organization that works diligently and with great commitment to insure the empowerpowerment of young middle school aged girls in our community. Please come out and support this wonderful work and at the same time enjoy the healing and spirited energy of 84 women singing, drumming, dancing and sending out the vibration of peace,love and understanding ! Come prepared to be a part of this community music making journey with us and wear your dancin' shoes!
